I recently had the pleasure of working with the ladies of Harlin + Sparrow, an event design team with beautiful vision for modern, clean, and polished design elements, juxtaposed with the wild and organic. Right up my freakin´ alley.
The Harvest Dinner took place at a gorgeous private residence in Sebastopol, CA, a modern home with a very organic and rural backdrop. We celebrated the season by incorporating lush blackberries, figs, pomegranates, and ivory gourds into the floral design. Big fluffy dahlias in deep burgundy and bright magenta, nude garden roses, and celosia the color of wine were some of my favorite seasonal elements. One long garland of olive, eucalyptus, agonis, and lemon leaf sprawled down the elegant table with accents of scabiosa, garden roses, dahlias, celosia, and fruits. I sourced all of the floral and botanical materials from local farms in Sonoma County, grounding this event to its setting and celebrating the ¨harvest¨ theme with authenticity.
PS. Glen Ellen Star. So good.
